Life Groups

Life Groups of about six to fifteen people meet together regularly to grow in relationship with Jesus, with each other, and to care for a lost and broken world. It's the best way to make new friends and connect with people in our church family.

Growth happens when we’re in community with each other. You can expect to be with other imperfect people, develop lasting relationships, share good food, and grow in your relationship with Jesus and with others who follow him.

Groups handle childcare differently. Some share responsibility for watching the kids, some split the cost for a sitter, some meet on Wednesday evenings during Blitz kids’ ministry. Just make sure to let us know if you would like to join a group with childcare.

Life Groups meet all around Cody—some at the church, some in homes, and others in offices or coffee shops.

Most groups meet weekly (a few meet two or three times per month) during the school year, and have a more relaxed schedule in summer.

This varies from group to group. Here are a few things Life Groups do to grow in Jesus:

  • Discuss the message from the previous Sunday
  • Study a book of the Bible
  • Read a book or do a study on a topic, such as prayer, suffering, marriage, sabbath, or parenting
